Ying Jian CHAN

Ying Jian CHAN serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Sun Venture. He spearheads strategic planning, execution, and management of the firm’s Finance, Operations, Risk Management, and Compliance functions. He also oversees the Corporate Office in the Isle of Man. Ying Jian possesses a strong background in business analytics and strategic planning across various industries and geographies.

Prior to joining Sun Venture, he served as the Group CFO at Yeo Hiap Seng, overseeing Finance, IT, Legal, and Corporate Secretarial functions. Before that, he held the CFO and IT Director roles at The Learning Lab and served as the Group CFO and Group CIO of BreadTalk Group Limited. Ying Jian began his career as an Equity Research Analyst at J.P. Morgan Securities.

Ying Jian holds a Double Degree in Business Management (Finance) and Accountancy (Summa Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University. He is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore and a CFA Charterholder.
